World internet Stats

According to the website www.internetworldstats.com 100% of the Americas use internet. That includes North America, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. 74.4% of the entire world use internet. That means 1,668,870,408 is the total population of people who use internet. The growth rate of the internet has increased from 2000 to 2009 to 361.4% of the world. Does that mean "3rd world" countries still have access to the internet? and are they actually 3rd world or are they just like we were in say the 1920's?

Just a thought.
