Teen and distracted driving

75% of all american teens own a cell phone.
1 in 3 teens say they have texted while driving
52% of cell phone using teens have said they talked on the phone while driving
48% have been in a car while the driver texted
40% say that they have been in a car where the driver has used the cell phone.

"As early as 2006, and well before texting had become mainstream in the U.S., the Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project reported that more than a quarter of adult cell phone owners felt their cell phone had at some point compromised their driving ability. In the survey, 28% admitted they sometimes did not drive as safely as they should while using their mobile devices."

Half (52%) of cell-owning teens ages 16-17 say they have talked on a cell phone while driving. That translates into 43% of all American teens ages 16-17.

Alan Kahazie

Im not sure If im completely persuaded with this guy. I mean his idea was like what Keshawn Dodds said a "no brainer". Kahazie proposed a plane that people have been wanting for years and candidates have been bringing up in past elections. Im not sure if he has my vote yet. i mean his ideas were good and he def knows what hes talking about. I just wish he went into more detail with his plan. I would have liked him to have a copy of his plan for us to view. i think im going to have to do more research on him before im persuaded to vote for him.
