The site states that those who blog and use social networking sites are more politically involved. This is said to be because of the high usage of adults. 37% of users from ages 18-29 either blog of use social networking as a use of political involvement. Half of the people involved in political groups communicate through websites and email. The site also states that 17% of cell phone users who are part of political or community groups have communicated with a group via text message on a cell phone device.
